Festival of Arts in Chilliwack next month. Jurors Sylvia Scott of Emily Carr College of Art and Design and Jim Thornsbury of Capilano College’s art department made the decision at an art exhibit at West World religions examined (3 LEARN ABOUT world religions at an upcoming North Shore Con- tinuing Education workshop. Sid Bentley will offer an infor- mative yet easy-to-understand in- troduction to six religions at an all-day session on Saturday, April Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam will be examined. Bentley is a Surrey teacher who Passage Stardancer-Alaska 7 days~4 ports has pioneered a course in world religions for the past 17 years. He has written a set of books on nine religions that are used in schools across Canada and are on the text- book list in Manitoba and Saskat- chewan. The course is offered at Carson Graham Secondary School, 2145 Jones Ave., North Vancouver.
