Children adapt to shipboard life
with ease, and during the summer
and holidays many cruise lines of-
fer supervised children’s programs.

Do you have to pay to see the
entertainment?

On a cruise vacation the enter-
tainment is on the house. There’s
no cover, no minimum and no
charge for an admission ticket.
The shows are live and the movies
are generally recent titles.

Will I need a tuxedo?

If you have one and feel com-
fortable wearing it, bring it along.
But don’t go out and buy one for
the trip. For every occasion requir-
ing a coat and tie, there's an acca-
sion for shirt sleeves.

Can I bring an electric hair dryer
ors shaver?

Certainly. Most cruise ships of-
fer convenient 110-volt outlets in
the staterooms.

What does ‘‘different sittings’’ for
meals mean?

Some ships have one main sit-
ting that accommodates all the
passengers in the dining room at
the same time. Most ships have
two sittings which differ only as to
time schedule.

Can special arrangements be made
for special occasions?
Absolutely. Most
