E. foundation CONSUMER AND Corporate Affairs Minister Jim Hewitt has announced he will introduce legisla- tion in the upcoming session to establish a B.C. Real Estate Foundation. The Foundation would fund projects and programs relating to real estate matters, such as public and profes- sional education, real estate law reform and research. The organization would be wholly financed by interest on general trust accounts of real estate agents, Hewitt said. “Currently, the interest earned on these accounts is held by banks and other financial institutions.
