cooler temperatures, and the marima empties out fairly quickly.

Hiker’s
body
found

THE SEARCH for hiker
Rimas Gylys has ended with
the discovery of his body on
the slopes of Mt. Shuksan in
Washington State.

Gylys was found at the
base of a small cliff just off
the main route down the
mountain on the weekend.
He went missing Tuesday,
after leaving the camp he
shared with three others who
were climbing the mountain

CGrylys, originally idenu fied
as a North Vancouver man
but actually a Vancouver res-
ident, had left the group at 3
am Tuesday to hike back
to his car in order to be at
work on time

According to friends, Gy-
lys was an experienced hiker

who had climbed the same
mountain several times in
the past
