I was able to complete the 24 hours of consecutive tennis to raise some much-needed funds for the Vancouver Burn Unit. 1 would also like to thank the following people: The North Shore Winter Club, to all the staff and management for their help. Dear Editor: May I please use your newspaper in an effort to obtain a logical ex- planation from somebody at the North Vancouver District Hall as to why my property taxes have in- creased over 20 per cent this year (1987) over last year? As the national inflation rate is roughly between three per cent and four per cent, [ expected my taxes to have been increased by no more than five per cent. Mary P.
