W. Vancouver restaurant
reopens after renovations

AN ABUNDANCE of local festive restaurant news has
necessitated removal of the regular Table Hopping review to
the back burner. A listing of best restaurants from 1987
reviews will appear in the next Table Hopping episode.

This longtime West Vancouver
favorite has now officially reopen-
ed after undergoing a major
facelift that began approximately
four months and $300,000 ago and
has provided Par’s with a new
kitchen, a new menu and a new
outlook on life as a restaurant.

Seating has only been increased
by 14 (from 90 to 104) but view
seats have mushroomed from a
paltry one to 50 in the new south
wall window section.

A new menu, yet to be put under
Table Hopping scrutiny, features a
wide selection of entrees in the $10
to $20 range.
