students will be running ‘for: Rick
Hansen during. the eighth annual
B.C. School Sports Milk Run on
April 23. -

both to show their. support fitness

and nutrition’ and‘to show Rick

Hansen that his home ‘province is
thinking of him while he’s so far
away.

In: past years, donations and

"pledges have gone toward the.

‘wheeler’ program to put
wheelchair trainer’ units into
schools with wheelchair students.
This year, to ‘acknowledge Rick
Hansen's help vin establishing the
milk run, the funds are going to
his Man in Motion cause.

In the past seven years the Milk

‘Run, which is sponsored by B.C. --

School Sports and the B.C.’ Dairy
Foundation, has raised more than
$175,000 for the disabled.
