new look for fall

BLACK LEATHER for women
will be bigger than ever this fall

parel Association says about car-
ing for leather:
» You should always store leather
coats on broad wooden or padded
hangers to maintain the shape of
the shoulders. And give leather air
— storing it in plastic can dry out
the leather, causing it to crack.

> Wrinkles normally will hang
out, but you can press leather.
Cover it with heavy brown paper
and press it with a dry iron on the
lowest setting.

Don’t use steam, and be sure
the leather is dry. Keep the iron
moving to avoid overheating the
leather.

» Sprays that add a water and
stain-repellent finish to leather are
available. Or professional leather
cleaners will also provide this ser-
vice.

Pm Avoid spraying perfumes or
hair sprays near leather. The
adhesive from name badges can
also damage the finish of leather.
To clean leather, wipe off dust
and surface dirt with a soft dry
sponge or cloth,
