The News has helped to keep peo-
ple informed on local issues — it
always has a reporter present at
our council meetings — and pro-
vides an important function by
supporting non-profit societies and
agencies through advertising.

I have lived in the City of North
Vancouver for over 35 years and
rem2mber when the North Shore
News was the North Shore Shop-
per. I must say that I haven’t
always agreed with the News’
editorials, but the paper has done a
good job over the years, never-
theless.
