THE FORD Probe, Ford of
* Canada’s newest entry in Canada’s
small speciality segment, will ‘be
introduced locally May 12.

Representative of Ford's expan-
ding multinational approach to
automotive design and engineer-
ing, the Probe is the product of a
five-year cooperative program be-
tween Ford and Mazda.

The Probe ‘is available in onc
body style — a two-door sport

“hatchback featuring 242 seating,

and is offered in three series: GL,

LX and GT. Probe’s body and in-,

terior were designed by Ford's
North American” Design. studios.

cy. The resulting drag coefficient
of .304 (.32 for the GT with wider
