SPCA needs help

Dear Editor:

I write in deep apprecia-
tion to all those citizens of
the Lower Mainland who
continued to help the SPCA
make Vancouver one of the
finest humane cities in the
world.

Whilst there is still a long
way to go before every
animal has a good home, by

the continuing spay and
neuter, inoculation and pro-
per control of their pets,
much has been achieved. As
we receive no government
funding, the financial sup-
port we receive helps us each
year to take yet another step
forward. Help us take mere
steps - we are seeking a new
community involvement.

Your support in’ terms of
volunteering, money or
skills, is needed. Give us a
