Although District Mayor
Don Bell said in April that an
‘\agreement was only “a few

could manage at Monday's
council mecting was a
statement that the
agreement is “achievable in
the not too distant future.”
The one “pivotal” issue

still remaining is_ the
queston of what moncy
should be paid to -the

municipality for services, by
residents on the = cffected
Indian land.
