into favor, divorce is also
becoming more popular.

A survey by the Office of
Population Censuses
Surveys said the number of
marriages went up last year
after falling every year since
1972. ~,

Yet Britons are waiting
longer before getting
married, and waiting longer
after getting married to have
their first child - an avetage
of 31 months. now compared

with 17 months in the 1960's, -
