Find a summer job

WITH only a couple weeks left in the
schoal year, many local high-school
students are thinking about summer
jobs,

For those who are not sure where to begin,
the Parkgate branch of North Vancouver
District Library is sponsoring a workshop on
Job Search Techniques and Skills.

The session is presented by the Canada
Employment Centre for Students and will be
held at the library on Wednesday, June 19,
from 4 to 5 p.m.

The workshop will cover haw to write a
resume, how to plan a job search and make
contacts, and how to make @ good inipression
atan interview, There will also be sume hints
on career planning.

This is an opportunity for teens to learn
how to get started in the competitive job miar-
ket. There is no charge. but those wishing to
attend are asked to register by calling the
library at 929-3727,
