cial court on March 10:
Bradley James Saari, 25, of
North Vancouver, was fined
$1,000 and = received 24

found guilty of

@ assaulting a man on Nov. 4,
1995, in North Vancouver City;
@ committing mischief by
damaging the’man’s windows.

Saari was required. to pay
$465 restitution.

Before Judge Jerry
Paradis in North Vancouver
provincial court on March 7:

Michael Frederick Verney,
44, of West Vancouver,
received six months’ probation
after he pleaded guilty to
defrauding the Royal Bank on
Apri) 6, 1995, in North
Vancouver City.

Verney was required to pay
$1,242 restitution and per-
form 30 hours of community
work service,

Shawn Vangreun, 35, of
North Vancouver, was fined
$100 and had his driver's
licence suspended three
months after pleading not
guilty to impaired, bur instead
pleading guilty to the lesser or
included offence of driving
without due care and attention.

The original charge stemmed
from a Sept. 8, 1995, incident in
North Vancouver District.

provincial court on March 6:

Sean Wayne DaSilva, 27, of
Delta, was jailed seven days
and received 12 months’ pro-
bation after he pleaded guilty
to assaulting a woman on Dee.
5, 1996.

DaSilva was prohibited
from possessing —_ firearms,
ammunition of explosives: for
five years,
