Sutherland in North Vancouver provincia! court on April 17: Diana Louise Dick was fined $500 after the 22-year-old Bur- naby woman pleaded gui’*y to stealing a telephone Feb. 2+ from Sears. eee Robert Edmund Rothenberger was sentenced to six months in jail after the 50-year-old Squamish man pleaded guilty to driving while prohibited Oct. 5, 1990 on Westview Avenue. Before Judge R. Sutherland in North Vancouver provincial court on April 16: Alan James Tarkanen was fined $500 after the 20-year-old North Vancouver man pleaded guilty to being in possession of a stolen Chevron card on Aug. 17, 1990. Before Judge D.E. Moss in North Vancouver provincial court on April 12: Glenn Michael Schulstad was fined a total of $400 after the 21-year-old North Vancouver man pleaded guilty to breaching his probation on Jan. 26 and to possession of marijuana on Jan. 12 As well, Schulstad received a suspended sentence and one year's probation for failing to comply with his »robation order on Dec. 15, 1990. Before Judge R.D. Grandison in West Vancotver provincial court on April 11: Premila | Markan received a conditional discharge after the 20-year-old Vancouver woman pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana in connection with a Feb. 4, 1990 drug seizure. eee Steven Strobbe of Vancouver was ordered to stand trial on charges laid in connection with a March 10 incident. Strobbe, 23, will face a total of three counts ranging from break, entry and theft from the Kwik Stop Food Store to possession of housebreaking instruments and possession of stolen property. He will next appear May 8 in Supreme Court to set a trial daze. Before Judge R.D. Grandison in West Vancouver provincial court on April 10: Otomar Hlas, 35, and Bronislav Brown, 33, are to appear May 8 in Supreme Court to set a trial date after a trial was ordered for the two Vancouver men. Hias will stand trial on three counts and Brown on one count in connection with several robbery and theft-related incidents alleged to have occurred Dec. 30, 1990. Before Judge R.D. Grandison in West Vancouver provincial court on April 8: Daniel Robert Davis was fined $1,000, received a suspended sentence and was placed on pro- bation for one year after the 34- year-old North Vancouver man pleaded guilty to committing assault causing bodily harm to a man on Aug. 16, 1990.
