Combine ingredients in a small : :
saucepan and bring to a boil.
Lower heat and simmer gently
about 10 minutes.

Shirley cuts up European
wieners into bite-sized pieces and
simmers them in this sauce.
They’re delicious. I often have it
do double duty — spear the
wieners on picks as I take them out
of the sauce. Serve the sauce sepa-
rately as a dip for the meatbalis
too.
