recently to face various charges
laid against them.

14:

Keith Robert McGinnis was fin-
ed $50 after the 27-year-old North
Vancouver man pleaded guilty to
failing to appear for a scheduled
court date.

Lesley Denise Patas was fined
$100 after the 34-year-old North
Vancouver woman pleaded guilty
to driving without due care and at-"
tention in connection with an Aug.
24 incident on the Upper Levels
Highway near Capilano Road.

North Vancouver provincial court
Oct. 13:

Helbert Ernesto Montoya
received a conditional discharge
and was placed on probation for
three months after the 21-year-old
North Vancouver man_ pleaded
guilty to a charge of taking a vehi-
cle without the consent of its
owner.

Montoya was also ordered to
perform 15 hours of community
work service, preferably for the
owner of the vehicle.
