Performance loaded an initial
order of 47 motorcycles in
September to crew members of the
38,928-tonne E Mei Shan. Next
week’s sale, Herdy said, will be to
the crew of the E Mei Shan’s sister
ship.

Performance is currently buying
motorcycles from all over Western
Canada and the United States to
help fill the orders.

Each motorcycle takes about
three hours to overhaul.

The company, which is one of
Canada’s largest retailers of
motorcycle parts, currently
employs four full-time and four
part-time workers.

Herdy has said he expects to ex-
pand to 1!8 employees if the
Chinese sales continue.
