says Capilano College instructor
Ramon Kubicek.

Kubicek is teaching Introduction
to Technical Writing this fall at
Capilano, and he stresses that the
course will improve the skills of
people who have to write such
items as reports, manuals,
documentation or handbooks.

In Communications 250 students
are introduced to the main formats
of business writing and shown how
to save time when composing
reports, and how to edit their work
so that it is free of snags.

The course gives people a chance
to practise their writing skills and
receive instruction in a classroom
setting.

Who should sign up for this
course? ‘Anyone in business and
industry who wants to review his
or her skills in report writing and
documentation... Anyone who
wants to upgrade technical com-
muncations skills. Any student or
job seeker looking to begin to
develop professional writing
skills,’’ says Kubicek.
