College aids
unity drive

With annual Quebec exchange

“We enjoyed having

Yolande so much that we
will really miss her when she
leaves, for she became like a
member of the family during
her six week stay,” wrote
one family.

Another reported: “Our
billet Jean Alexandre proved
to be a neat. helpful boy who
was genuinely anxious to
learn the English language
and fit into our family well.”

Many of these families will
be hosting Quebec students
tor a second or third time
this summer, but the
program has expal ded and
the college is looking for
more accommodation within
easy walking or bus distance
of the college.

Families who take a
student in will be paid $265
lo cover the costs of room
and board over the six
weeks.
