tear view mirrors will give any
driver 100 per cent vision around
a car. A vehicle approaching from
the rear can be constantly in sight
— first in the rear view mirror,
then picked up in the side view
mirrors, and then in the driver's
peripheral vision as it is about to
pass. If your car is not equipped
with a mirror on the passenger
side, get one.

from the Traffic Injury Research
Foundation, based on a_ study
covering seven provinces over a
five-year period (1980-85), the
months of December, January and
February had the Jowest totals for
drinking related crashes. Most ac-
cidents, alcohol-involved and
otherwise, take place during the
summer months.
