16 - Sunday, September 13, 1998 — North Shore News Ride the Royal Hudson soon BC Rail celebrates Canada’s rail heritage with a ride on their vintage steam train, the Royal Hudson, and a free visit to the West Coast Railway Heritage Park in Squamish. The final three excursions takes place Sunday and Thursday berveen now and Sept. 20. The West Coast Railway Park has the largest collection of ker- itage railway equipment in Western Canada, with over 60 vintage cars and locomotives in all stages of refurbishment. Visitors can ride around park on the miniature railway while catching sight of the many cabeoses, snow plows, locomotives and passenger cars. Children and adults alike get a glimpse of the romance and excitement of rai! travel in Canada from the turn of the century to the °50s.
