Maloff gave his first recital at age 10 and made inis concert debut six years later. His father, Nicholas Sr, has a theory about his son's exceptional talents: ‘‘His mother was an opera singer who sang into her eighth month of pregnancy and the vibrations were there.” Now half-way through his masters degree, he has given solo concerts in Belo-Russia, the Ukraine, and Siberia. And after spending three years steeped in Russian culture, Maloff says he has come tu adopt it as his new home. “t guess West Coast living does have its good sides.
