These are starting to appear in quantity at the various outlets, arid while it's nice
to get a jump on the season, some caution is necessary to avoid disappoint-
ment. Such things as pansies, most vegetables, petunias, sweet peas and
carnations are hardy and should present no prublems, but fuschias, marigolds,
impatiens, begonias and many others are very tender, and if planted now
should have adequate protection. Den't forget the proper fertiiizer for best
results, in this case 4-10-10 or 6-8-6 is recommended.
