A sea of people — approximately 35,000 — merched over the Burrard Street Bridge through downtown Vancouver to Sunset Beach, where they heard calls for woris peace and pleas for nations to stop spend- ing money on nuclear armaments. The peace walk, the Will march make largest annual peace march in North America, saw peace groups, unions, anti-abortionisis, feminists, church. groups and concerned citizens all join together in an ef- fort to stop the arms race and bring peace to the globe.
