Ernie Crist, a bylaw amendment to rezone an area of Kirkstone Park from open space to public assembly to make room for a wave pool south of the Karen Magnussen Arena recently passed first reading at North Vancouver District Council. Crist called the proposed adop- tion of the rezoning bylaw ‘‘an er- roneous, short-sighted decision’ and a ‘‘bad bylaw’”’.
