Recently, some oil companies announced they were thinking about changing some of their self- service stations over to full-service. Both have a number of advantages and disadvantages. Self-service stations often’ mean lower prices; full-service stations mean motorists do not have to fill their tanks themselves. The firms say sales at self-service stations are declining and their customers want some of the pampering that full- service stations provide.
