Burning down the house

A FILM company has been granted a temporary
licence to use North Vancouver District land in
order to film part of a movie.

Multicor Limited will be
using the land to build a
lemporary two-sided log
cabin which will be burned
as part of a film sequence.

To be eligibie tor the hcence,
the company was required to
pay a $1,000 deposit prior to
construction to ensure clean
up of the site, as well as pay

the licence fee of $350.

Since the company’s
schedule did not allow for
early approval by Council,
the temporary licence has
been granted for only one
month, starung October 17.

In introducing the licence
application Ald. Stephen
McMinn assured Council the
