Services for

FUNERAL service at St.
Agnes Anglican Church,
North Vancouver was held
Saturday for Allan Munro
(Curly) Stewart, mayor of the
village of Lions Bay for 12
years, who died last Thurs-
day. He was 79.

He served as mayor of
Lions Bay from its incor-
poration in 1970 until stepp-
ing down two years ago.

North Van, he was employed
by Pacific Lime Co. (later
taken over by Domtar) and
rose tO a management posi-
tion with the company until
his retirement in 1970.

Mr. Stewart is survived by
his wife Doris, daughters
Dree Broderick and Lynn
Cairns, four grandchildren
and one great-grandchild.
