Vancouver Community Arts
Council in March and April.

NORTH Vancouver City
council admits its civic
museum is too small, but
says it doesn't have money to
find a larger facility.

Council has voted to ask
Senator Ray Perrault and
local MLA Angus Ree
whether there is any federal
or provincial money
available to develop new
museum facilities.

The decision to seek out
funds was spurred by a letter
to council from a Harrison
Mills resident.

The two workshops, each
with 14 hours of instruction,
will be held in the Anne
Macdonald Hall, at the rear

couver. The first one runs
from Friday, March 25,

7:30 -10:30 pm and
Saturday, March 26, 9:00
am - 5:00 pm and Sunday,
March 27, 1:30 - 4:30 pm.

The second workshop will
run from Saturday, April 23,
9:00 am-5:00 p.m. to
Sunday. April 24 10:00
a.m. - 4pm.

The cost of each workshop
is $55.00 and preregistration
is necessary. All materials
required may be purchased
in advanee from the artist.
