AN INNOVATIVE day-long
conference for North Shore

Capilano College.

Wormen Together: Mothers and
Daughters. 1995 features workshops,
speakers and entertainment aimed at
strengthening family ties during the
challenging teenage years.

“We're inviting young women,
ages 12 to'17, and. their mother or
other adult woman.” says volunteer
organizer Joy Phelps of Family
Services of the North Shore (FSNS).
“The goal of this symposium is-to
open the lines of communication and
. help: women -gain’ information and
“skills. And at-the same time, have
some fun.”
