hospital has no intention of
keeping the shares. They
will be cashed in to provide
funds for the hospital's drive
to completely renew the
children’s floor. ‘We have

raised over 300,000 dollars

so far but costs will exceed
400,000 doliars. -

people who have never been
shareholders, they may not

The Children’s Floor Fund
at Lions Gate Hospital is the
hospital’s project for the
International Year of the
Child. The Children’s Floor,
designed in the 1950's
needed a major revamping
to bring it into line with
today’s treatment methods.

A West Vancouver man
said to be an executive of a-
cocaine importing ring,
William ‘Fats’ Robertson,
was Friday sentenced to 20
years’ imprisonment and
fined $50,000.

Robertson, who is 49, was
said in court to have been
prepared to kill anyone who
cheated or crossed his drug
organization and was named
as one of the biggest im-
porters of cocaine into
Canada.

rejected a request by Crown
counsel Howard Rubin for
terms of life imprisonment.

comparable to trafficking in
heroin, which the Crown had

scale use of the drug could
