second best ar the recent North Shore Challenge.

Chung Ai Photographic Society of Vancouver won the uophy
for highest aggregate score, narrowly beating, the photo contest’s
previous top prize-winner, Nerth Shore Photographic Soci

‘The North Shore photo chal hosted the provinee wide
pediuen at Capilano Coilege’s pertorming arts theatre Feb, 2

Phis was the 5th year for the contest, which received entries
trom 33 phoro clubs
provinee-wide,

The Canadian
Association for
Photographic Art
(CAPA) silver medal
for “best of show"
was awarded to
Richard lam of
Chung Ai for his
photo Get Throug!,
the Wave.

Ben Chan, also of
Chung Ai, received the
gold award tor his photo Smoke.

Silver went to Robin Barker of Underwater B.C.
Photographic Society for his photo Delicate.

Dan Zaremba of Summerland Camera Club received bronze
for his wildlife photo Male Flicker with Young.

Members of North Shore Photographic Society meet regular-
ly at St. Anthony’s Church in West Vancouver. In addition to cri-
tiques of members’ work, the club conducts workshops and
