David Black has squelehed cevuaniter opinion about the Sisga'a Agreement in the 40 B.C. newspapers he controls. He has taken away trom the editors who work ins those communities their right: to determine an editorial stance based on the community val ues they are trying, to reflect. He is denying space on those tial pages to anyone who disagrees, save the now tainted letters to the editor page. In many instances, those newspapers are the only game in town. How decent of him to to continue to cover the issue as objectively as they know haw. How shrewd of him to hint, with as much subtler asa speeding frethr train, that thev’d better nor work too hard to tind any counter points of view, especially if they aspire to anv of his senior editenal poesifions.
