By mid September, Thiessen’s worried family had plastered missing person posters fron: here to Roberts Creek. The North Vancouver RCMP were immersed in a time-consuming investigation. Police suspected “foul play” had happened to the 49-vear- old licenced practical nurse from Lions Gate Hospital. Thiessen lived in North Van betore he disappeared. The News contacted: his mother in Burnaby on Thursday.
