new directors to board

NORTH VANCOUVER City ad-
ministrator Gerry Brewer has been
appointed as one of four new
board directors for the North
Vancouver-based Pacific Marine
Training Institute (PMTI).

Brewer is also vice-chairman of
the North Shore Community
Credit Union board.

Other new PMT! board ap-
pointments are Frank Carosella, a
pilot with the Fraser River Pilots’
Association; Margaret Mahan, a
former director of continuing

education at Douglas College; and
Peter Woodward, a maritime sur-
veyor, entreprencur and former
vice-president of the Council of
Marine Carriers.
