Now known as Lucas Centre, the old building hums with activity again. Not only does it house the administrative offices of North Shore Continuing Education, it also provides classroom space for several of NSCE’s larger pre- grams. Dr. Doug Ledgerwood has been the director of North Shore Conti- nuing Education since 1983. With program administrator Barbara McBride, he provides an exciting range of courses. For those stu- dents who prefer not to leave home after dark, many classes are available during the day.
