Presently scouting the country from coast to coast, this non-profit, charitable organization is celebrating its tenth anniversary and wishes to see more young people join its growing class of international students. “It’s the educational adventure of a lifetime,’’ says Jenny Hall, an active volunteer for the organization in Richmond, ‘‘and the time to plan is now.” Hall is concerned that not enough students are aware of the availability of this kind of intercultural learning experience. “‘Qur students come home with a wealth of knowl- edge, skills and first-hand experiences, which opens up a lot of doors,”’ she says. Placements through Interculture Canada are available in over 30 countries around the world.
