NORTH SHORE athletes proved once again that there is more to playing sports than kicking a ball
around. Four local soccer players won scholarships at the B.C. Youth Soccer Association awards pres-
entation. Pictured from lef¢ to right are winners Paul Schulstad, Nadine Card, Kimberly Henders and Peri
Mainwaring, and North Shore soccer youth coordinator Jay McPherson. The students won the scholar-
ships because of their high academic marks, record of community service and fine athletic abilities.

NSCC scored 158 for 7 and the
visitors replied with a score of 48.

Eric Greenidge played a good
