Today. a Vancouver
designer of hand crafted
fashion jewellery is making
Canadian fashion headlines.

Earrings, bracelets,
neckpieces, pins and belts,
designed and hand crafted
by Cheryle Mosier and
marketed under the name
Audace can be found in
better fashion shops from
Victoria to Halifax.

The hammered, polished
and formed pieces in brass

and nickel silver range in
size from small dime sized

Mosier’s start began in
1979 while holding down a
full me job as director of
administrauon for a Van-
couver health service. She
had taken a silversmithing
course and was anxious to
try her design talent. At first
she sold to a handful of
Vancouver stores.

enough to encourage her to
continue but not sufficient to
quit her job. Then in 1980

fashion pages with photos of
her designs. Stores began
receiving calls requesting
her jewellery even before it
was shipped.
