Kim Turner, recent
graduate of North Van-
couver Senior Secondary
School, was awarded a $300
scholarship by the North
Vancouver Teachers
Association. For two years
she has worked as a page in
the children’s department of
North Vancouver City
Library.

Both at the library and at
school in tutorials, Turner
enjoys helping young
people. This summer she

also baby-sat a 13-month-old
child.

Turner excelled in English
in Secondary School and was
given a proficiency award.
Now her eyes will be tured
toward Capilano College and
a teaching career with
remedial work as her
preference.

One teacher remarked
about her former student,
