The Engineering Department invites you to put your name forward asa candidate for : a joint Community and City staff Project t to design a Public involvement Program. This is a new and challenging initiative of the City Engineer, in which. six community volunteers: and six staff members will work as a team to design a Public Involvement Program, and then test it ona current Engineering issue. A consultant will provide the training necessary to carry out this task and will assist in running meetings and drafting reports. We anticipate that the work will occur. over the Fall and Winter months with a schedule of meetings to ‘suit the Project Team's ;: requirements. The results of the team's work will be presented to the City Engineer who will report to Council as appropriate. We Need Six Volunteers. The six community volunteers will be selected as follows: ¢ Three team members will be chosen by staff from a candidate list of individuals who have previously shown an interest in City affairs.
