THE NORTH Viincouver ROMP
are warning residents about bogus
sles people solicuing information
regarding residential security: sys-
tems over the phone.

The callers claim they are work-
ing for ADT Security Systems and
request information about a would-
be customer's home security, said a
North Vancouver RCMP
spokesman.

The police spokesman sitd
ADT doesn't request this type of
information fram new clients over
the phone.

The police have received sever-
al complaints about the phone
calls. Anyone who has been con-
tacted by these phone solicitors is
requested to call the North
Vancouver ROMP at 985-1314.
