Re: ‘'Teenage wasteland’’ arti-
cle on Sunday, April 11.

1 was disgusted and shocked,
which I suspect was your intent,
to read the drivel offered by the
two mindless wonders Mark and
Nigel (“nat their real names’? —
PU just bet!) in the above ap-
propriately titled article.

} was amazed that a newspaper
of your stature would be prepared
to devote three-quarters of a page
to such immature garbage from
obvious tow-lifes of whom the
principal aim in life is to cause
others and themselves physical
pain.

Having struggled to the end of
the article, however, and reflecting
on the meaningless diarrhea
therein, 1 felt that perhaps maybe
there was a purpose after all.

If nothing else, it does em-
phasize yet again the sorry slate
our society is in,

Not only do we permit these
leeches to roam the streets, we in-

slantly jump to their aid by pro-
viding lawyers to defend them
when caught.

Even if the courts are successful
in convicting them, it is obvious
the senience is not enforsed.

Makes you kind of proud,
doesn't it?

These two morons ire obviously

plight

Proudly heading directly into the
corrections/welfare system, if they
are not already there, at enormous
cost to all those of us who choose
to contribute to society.

Our rewards? Becoming victims
of their crimes.

final letter in the North Shore
News’ full-page spread of April 9.

lt fairly bursts with (he expected
ad hominem blather.

It's as nasty as an unhinged
hornet, as senseless as Sanskril to
an Eskimo ~ if that’s not too
racist to say.

It's trite and tiresome and goes
nowhere.
