Tadpole features fun designs for fall

TADPOLE IS introducing its fall
lines in time for kids to wear fun
designs when they go back to
school.

Owner Carole Herder’s fall
designs follow her memerics back
to her favorite childhood tales.

Fairies, wizards, dragons and
castles decorate Tadpole’s
Children of the Enchanted Forest
collection. Designed by Herder,
the print features whimsical im-
ages from children’s fantasies.

Fadpole’s designs continue the
medieval theme with the Princess
dress with its portrait collar and
yoke shirt, the peaked Robin’s
heod on the jumpsuit; and the
King Arthur shirt with its fold-

over collar and vest detail.

Medieval-inspired buttons and
novelty collars — frills, broad
cape collars and asymmetrical
points — add an original touch.

Fleece separates coordinate with
soft brush-backed cotton twill
print, overdyed in cream, emerald
and raspberry. Turtlenecks and
pullovers with a multi-colored En-
chanted Forest screen print are
paired with balloon pants, flip
skirts and skeggings (leggings at-
tached to short skirts).

For cool fall days, Tadpole tops
the outfit off with a faux fur ze-
bra-striped coat and hat.

The popular Bumper Jumper

solves the problem of removing

jumpsuits quickly in the bathroom
with velcro tab fastening and an
elasticized back panel which drops
down from a separate back flap.

Retail prices range from $19.95
for a garment dyed T-shirt or leg-
gings to $100 for the fall faux fur
overcoat.
