Sunday, Dec. 6, all visitors to the suspension bridge and park can save the regular $4 admission charge by bringing at least two items to support the Vancouver Foed Bank. Donations will be distributed through the food bank’s locations, feeding 3,000 households in the Greater Vancouver area. The park will have thousands of Christmas lights throughout the grounds and there will be complimen- tary soft drinks, coffee and hot chocolate along with candy canes for the children. The Trading Post and Canyon House Galleria will GIVE A FRIEND TOA FRIEND OR RELATIVE THIS supported offer a special ornament for the Christmas tree and free gift wrapping of all purchases. Carver Stan Joseph will demonstrate West Coast carving in the park. The magic of Christmas can be shared by caroling with members of the Bach choir and by being part of the ceremony lighting the 450-foot suspension bridge atdp.m. The Vancouver Food Bank Society is a non-profit, non- partisan coulition of citizens endeavoring to ease hunger in Vancouver while seavching for possible solutions to the problem.
