NEW mothers looking for both a
gym program for their babies (ag-
ed nine months to two years) and a
chance to meet other new mothers
can enroll in Karen Magnussen
Arena's Baby Play program.

“The program provides mothers
and children a chance te enjoy
playtime together and it gives
mothers an opportunity to meet
other new mothers,’’ said Jane
Pollock, Recreation Programmer.

"We're offering a parent
assisted, cozy gym program with
the emphasis on physical and
social development.”

The program wil] be held Tues-
days and Thursdays, 9:45 to 10:30
a.m., March 4 to March 27.

Raise a racquet for spring

FOR THOSE wanting to get into
the spring swing of things, both
racquetball and squash lessons for
beginning adults are being offered
by the Delbrook Community Cen-
tre,

The racquetball lessons will be
held Saturdays to March 22, from
11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The four 90-minute lessons will
cover forehand, backhand and
service return, court etiquette,
simple tactics and equipmr ¢ selec-
tion.

The squash lessons will also be
held on Saturdays to March 22,
from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
