“AT LAST!” The old, sagging Grantham Street bridge
bottleneck is on the way out as construction begins on
the new Seymour crossing, scheduled for completion
this year. Incumbent MLA Jack Davis, seen above on
the old bridge, has been involved for many months in
obtaining the provincial government funding which
will pay for the new crossing and other highway im-
provements in the riding.

from their own - electoral
district bat still within B.C.
on May 5 can cast their
ballot anywhere else in the
province through “absentee
voting.”

Such voters should visit
the nearest polling station
and request an absentee
ballot for their own electoral
district.

They should take with
them their “You are
Registered” card and two
pieces of personal iden-
tification.
