Dear Editor: The 1982 Budget of the District of North Vancouver did not increase by 46 per cent over the 1981 Budget as suggested by Mr. Sarsfield (North Shore News, July 25), but by 9% per cent, well below the provincial guide- lines of 12 per cent. Furthermore. if Sarsfield had read the letter he was quoting from (North Shore News, June 27) more carefully, there is a chance that he might have noticed that it was addressed to the Council of the CITY of North Vancouver, not the District. Mr. Sarsfield, who was a candidate in the recent Tween and District municipal election in the City of North Vancouver (Unsuccessful), should, at least, be aware of the fact that the City of North Vancouver and the District of North Vancouver are not the same.
